Dr. Stephanie Culver was born and raised in Newark, Delaware, where she completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Delaware with Honors and Distinction. She was one of a select few to complete an undergraduate thesis in Neurobiology. She then spent the vast majority of her academic career in New York City. She received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and continued her medical training there, completing a five-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She then moved to Los Angeles to begin a coveted fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with Dr. Andrew Frankel at the Lasky Clinic Surgery Center in Beverly Hills, CA.
Dr. Culver is actively involved in clinical research and will continue her research pursuits during fellowship at the Lasky Clinic. She will also serve as faculty at LAC+USC Medical Center, which involves direct resident education both in surgical and clinical capacities.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Culver enjoys traveling, most recently visiting Thailand, Tokyo, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica to name a few. She is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing recreational sports as well as watching the pros, particularly football, ice hockey, and soccer. She loves live music concerts, kickboxing, and is ever in search of good New York style pizza in LA.
